HK Polytechnic University & Nankai University visit Oriental Logistics (23 Nov 2004)

The Department of Logistics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Nankai University has visited the Headquarters of Oriental Logistics, on 23 Nov, 2004.

HKQAA and HKLA joined hands to enhance quality in the Logistics Industry (16 Nov 2004)

Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) and Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 16, 2004 in the development and facilitation of a collaboration framework, with the aim to promote industry best practices and quality management systems in the logistics industry in Hong Kong and the Mainland China, and assist the industry in its overall process performance improvement and service enhancement.
At the MoU signing Ceremony, Mr. Raymond Leung, President of HKLA stated, "In line with Hong Kong SAR Government's directives and future development for the logistic sector and the common goal and mission the two parties share, the objective of the collaboration aims to create long-term sustainable development for the logistics sector". "Combining the expertise and resources of HKQAA and HKLA, programs will be developed to identify and promote good logistics practices and management tools for the continual improvement of HKLA member companies and the sector," said Mr. Anthony Wong, Executive Vice-President of HKLA. Mr. S.K Chan, Executive Director of HKQAA welcomed the initiative and confirmed the Agency's commitment and support to this worthy cooperation.

IVE students visit Oriental Logistics (29 Oct 2004)

The students of the Higher Diploma in Transport and Logistics Studies of The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) has visited the Headquarters of Oriental Logistics, on 29 Oct, 2004.

Tsuen Wan warehouse established (30 Aug 2004)

In order to cope with the ever-growing needs for warehousing services, Oriental Logistics' new operation in Tsuen Wan warehouse has started on 23rd August 2004.
Our Tsuen Wan warehouse is strategically located in the commercial and industrial area, in close proximity to container terminals and airport. The warehouse is well-equipped with sufficient amount of loading bays and the imposing ceiling height is advantageous to pick and pack as well as logistics operation.
For future development, we will introduce more projects into the warehouse so as to expand our client base.
